Writing. It’s such a wonderful and powerful thing. Writing can take you to your highest moments of glory, and it can take you to your deepest depths of sorrow. Writing. The ability to create something with the most powerful tool ever made, yet the most underrated; the mind. Writing can help you express your feelings and thoughts that you never thought you could get out to the world. It can open you to new worlds that, before, were locked. Worlds that can range anywhere from a couple of galaxies over, to your next door neighbor. Writing is something that I have enjoyed over the course of my lifetime. Not the grammar part, or the capitalization part, but the thought process. The flowing action of letting my mind stream with thoughts, and putting them on paper is something that is incomparable. One of the best things, is that there are an infinite amount of things to write about. You can write anything from a fantasy story taking place in a land of dragons to a historical document about civil life in the 19th century. It doesn’t matter who the characters are, what the setting is, or what the writing is about; there is no requirement whatsoever, and that is what make’s it so unique. Writing can be added upon, and shared, helping other people enter new worlds and create new connections with not only themselves, but also other people. Writing is not about the quantity, but the quality. There can be a piece of writing as short as 35 words, that carries more meaning to me than one with 300 words. Writing can carry meaning more than just on paper. It can carry a meaning, symbol, or theme with you everywhere you go, no matter where you go.
